Signal Phase and Timing (SPaT) Workshop

If you’re interested in the SPaT challenge, please join us for this in-depth discussion on what you need to get started. Participants will learn how to plan for a SPaT deployment, assemble the right team, options for equipment, as well as programming and integration of the equipment. Instructors will provide extensive lessons learned from their previous field deployments of the new technology.

Intersection Safety Workshop

This workshop will cover screening networks for intersection safety locations and issues; FHWA’s data-driven, performance-based Intersection Control Evaluation system for evaluating intersection safety and operations performance; implementing systemic improvements; and conducting intersection safety audits using real-world examples from Texas.

Ethics Seminar

This session will meet the requirements of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers for ethics training. The workshop is free and will meet on Wednesday afternoon after the above workshops and before the vendor exhibit reception. There is no cost to attend this seminar. (5 pm - 6 pm, April 15)
