Purpose
The TAMUite Participation Award will be making a return this semester. Its purpose is to reward the most involved member(s) of Texas A&M’s ITE student group for participating in chapter activities throughout the semester. This document will serve as a guideline to help determine who is most deserving of the TAMUite Participation Award.
Eligibility
In order to be considered for this award, all members must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member of ITE International. If not yet a member, an application can be found at here.
- Be in good academic standing
- 3.0 GPA graduate students
- 2.5 GPA undergrad students
Participation Points
The member who accumulates the most participation points in a regular semester (fall or spring) will be given the TAMUite Participation Award. Points are only assigned to members who appear in-person at chapter events. In general, service projects and events with longer meeting times carry a higher point value.
Award Details
Members who finish at the top will be recognized as the most involved TAMUite members of the year at the final general meeting of each semester (spring and fall). In addition, their efforts will be highlighted in a section of the ITE annual report. The winner(s) of the Participation Award will receive:
- A certificate of “Outstanding TAMUite Member”
- Prize
