Dr. Musa is a longtime member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). Prior to joining Landtech, Inc. as the Director of Traffic Engineering, he completed his Masters and Doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Texas and Arizona. Dr. Musa has also served as a Research Associate and Faculty Member at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been a longtime academician at various institutions of higher learning across the United States and has written and presented various papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Musa has received numerous awards and recognitions for excellence in teaching from the University of Cincinnati and other higher education institutions. For three decades, he has served in the consulting world in various capacities in traffic and transportation engineering.
His presentation, “Critical Thinking”, will examine the meaning of the term Critical Thinking, include interactive questions with answers from the audience, and use engaging graphics to explain the theory. Dr. Musa will present the critical thinking process, its importance in everyday life and in the learning environment, components of the process, and its implications on affective dispositions or attitudes. He will shed light onto the workforce composition in the world, and how working professionals are classified according to Revised Blooms Taxonomy based on critical thinking skills.
