Texas Institute of Transportation Engineers
ITE is a Community of Transportation Professionals. When you join ITE, you join a local Section, a regional District and ITE International, all of which work together to help you build your brand and keep you up to date on issues important to you by providing opportunities to connect locally, regionally, and internationally, virtually and in-person.
The Section typically meets on the third Thursday of each month at various locations in Fort Worth for a noon-hour meeting providing a buffet-style lunch, conversation, networking, and a technical presentation. Speakers at our meetings come from a wide range of entities including governmental (state/municipal), academics/research, and consultants. We also typically have a joint mini-conference with the Greater Dallas Section of TexITE each year.
We have several committees: Community Services, Membership, Mini-Conference, Nominating, Technical, Website, and Younger Members Committees. Volunteers are always welcome in these committees. For more information about our committees, click here.
